Sarah Jo Lambert, a former member of the Girl Scouts of Texas and Oklahoma Plains, was selected as one of 22 Americans to partake in the Olympic torch relay representing team USA for the 2012 Summer Games.
David Alderson, current Campaign Chairman, is off to a great start heading up the 2012 Annual Campaign. He began with the end in mind. When asked about this important volunteer responsibility, Alderson said, We will get it done!

Lubbock Area United Way and its supporters celebrated the conclusion of the 2011 Annual Campaign at a luncheon on November 29th. More than 600 volunteers and donors were on hand as Campaign Chairman Kevin McMahon announced that $5,450,175 had been pledged.
